Started messing around with IMPC Pro 2 on my iPad a couple of months ago, and have been really enjoying the workflow of sample-based creation, which is a relatively fresh method of music production for me. Haven't had this much fun creating in forever... and so, I present to you a culmination of my efforts, experiments, and some breezy afternoons in this new beat tape, entitled "closure as an asymptote."

A series of sonic vignettes: some understated in their inherent chordal beauty over minimal boom-bap drums, others serve as funky late-night cruise jams (featuring chopped and slopped variations and reprogramming of classic tunes), and even then others offer some tongue-in-cheek irreverence (well, maybe one of them does).

50% lofi chillhop, 50% vaporwave.
100% produced by me, 100% sampled.

Drift into that distant sunset with me, my friends.
